Hi, I’m Jessica Stampley CastaÑeda.

I GREW UP IN THE KITCHEN with my grandmother and parents consistently cooking delicious food. Even as a little girl, I knew making and baking would become my passion project for the rest of my days. I pursued going to culinary school after getting a prep job in a cafe & bakery that made EVERYTHING from scratch while I was still in high school. I fell in love with food all over again. Gaining knowledge and the skill set needed to elevate my love language of cooking for others changed my perspective not only on food, but how I show up to feed others.

I’ve worked in a myriad of positions throughout the food and beverage industry since then, working my way up to being an Executive Chef in Dallas, TX at age 27. Grateful for every learning experience along the way, I gathered up my toolbox and started my own cottage baking business, bringing thoughtfully crafted food, desserts, and beverages to my culinary curious community. Thanks for being along for my journey.

My Approach

I’m passionate about seasonal soulful food. I work to honor the ingredients I have access to with creative intention, combining thoughtful flavors and textural experiences along the way. Quality ingredients are of the utmost importance in both my cooking and baking, as the finished product is always a reflection of both myself and the ingredients used. I am inspired constantly by nature, beauty in simplicity, art and my family.
